Hello, given that this package is currently not able to install the non-free ccc compiler, that gcc is available and improving while ccc is essentially dead upstream and that the number of people doing serious number crunching on alpha is (unfortunately) strongly decreasing I suggest removing this package from sarge. Further the maintainer has not yet even acknowledged this bug (MIA?).
If you (the maintainer) already have a fix in your pipeline, please
upload it ASAP (and in the meantime, tag this bug pending).
