I was attempting to install a KVM image using virt-install and was prompted "Operation not supported" I spoke to danpb #virt (oftc.net) and he had a look, found missing code, and suggested a patch. See: https://www.redhat.com/archives/virt-tools-list/2015-August/msg00056.html His patch suggestion has been tested by me, and works a treat.
