Package: mysql-client-4.1 Version: 4.1.9-4 Severity: minor a very little thing: if no "-h <hostname>" option is specified the program uses the local unix socket to talk to the server. if "-h 127.0.0.1" is given it talks to the server using the network. but if "-h localhost" is given it talks to the server using the socket instead of the network. on a local machine this is no problem, but this confuses the user for example if he is using a ssh tunnel to connect to a mysql server. i don't know if mysql-client has the same behaviour. thanks
