Package: debianutils Version: 4.4+b1 Severity: important Tags: d-i Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? Using cdebootstrap-static with a limited local mirror. The local mirror included 'gawk'. It appeared to be a race condition - gawk installed after debianutils. Adding 'mawk' allows debianutils to install successfully * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Added mawk to local mirror. * What was the outcome of this action? Mawk by chance gets installed first * What outcome did you expect instead? Since debianutils 'add-shell' uses 'awk' it should have an explicit dependency on awk -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages debianutils depends on: ii libc6 2.19-13 ii sensible-utils 0.0.9 debianutils recommends no packages. debianutils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information Jeff Croxell Senior Software Developer Camber Corporation Office: 618-624-7833 Cell: 618-606-5069 The information contained in this email message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
