Package: gs-cjk-resource Severity: important
I had some trouble with displaying or printing some postscript files. Ghostscript - whether invoked by gv or lpr or directly doesn't matter - failed with a message "Error: /invalidfileaccess in --file--". The following lines showed the filename /usr/share/ghostscript/CMap/Identity-H which was a symlink to /usr/share/fonts/cmap/gs-cjk-resource/Identity-H which belonged to gs-cjk-resource. After removing (purging) this packages, gv worked fine. Unfortunantly I removed the package before I decided to write a bug report, therefore I do not know the version I had installed for sure, but as aptitude would now install 1.20021122-2, I am pretty sure that this was the version I had trouble with. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.13+swsp-2.2rc7-pjw-ide-14 Locale: LANG=, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages gs-cjk-resource depends on: ii defoma 0.11.8-0.1 Debian Font Manager -- automatic f ii gs 8.01-5 Transitional package ii gs-afpl [gs-aladdin] 8.14-3 The AFPL Ghostscript PostScript in ii gs-esp [gs] 7.07.1-9 The Ghostscript PostScript interpr ii gs-gpl [gs] 8.01-5 The GPL Ghostscript PostScript int -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
