Package: ghex Version: 3.10.1-1 Severity: minor Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
In the preferences menu (Edit > Preferences), the option to specify the offset format rejects format specifiers such as "%s", stating: > The offset format string contains invalid format specifier. > Only 'x', 'X', 'p', 'P', 'd' and 'o' are allowed. Entering "%P" doesn't trigger the error message (as it's supposedly valid), but it causes the status bar to show a literal "%P" instead of the offset. I can't seem to find any reference to a "%P" format specifier. POSIX does not mention it, and GCC (4.9.3-3) gives a warning about an "unknown conversion type character." Thank you for your consideration.
