Package: synergy Version: 1.4.16-1 Followup-For: Bug #764390 Hi, I would be really grateful if the newer version of synergy found its way to the repository because the current upstream version is incompatible with the older versions so now I am not able to use this tool with e.g. OpenSUSE 13.1 which has 1.7.3 version and the client on this machine fails to connect to my Debian box which acts as the server:
WARNING: failed to connect to server: incompatible client 1.5 The last version of the client which worked with the Debian server was 1.6.2. I've checked the git history and kProtocolMinorVersion was bumped up to 1.6 by af73e8280daa1 in v1.7.3-stable.
