Package: libpango1.0-0 Version: 1.8.0-3 Severity: important Hello,
after a dist-upgrade of my Sarge system on 2005-02-11, the colors of my eclipse fonts (I'm using Fixed 13) were completely broken. Instead of the usual black, green, blue colors I've four flavours of red fonts, what makes the code quite unreadable. The problem does not affect all fonts (true type fonts are ok) and is visible in other related packages also. (gvim - when you select an fixed font) screenshot: http://www.uni-klu.ac.at/~ghoch/gvim.png After spending some time trying to find the culprit, I upgraded an older Sarge system gradually and after installing libpango1.0-0 1.8.0-3 and libpango-common1.0-0 1.8.0.3 I could see the problem. Downgrading to 1.6.0-3 (thanks snapshot.debian.net) fixes the problem, so I assume something went wrong with 1.8.0-3 Greetings, Gerald -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (1001, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.28-uk-srv-p4 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages libpango1.0-0 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfontconfig1 2.2.3-4 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-2.3 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.1-3 The GLib library of C routines ii libpango1.0-common 1.8.0-3 Modules and configuration files fo ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii libxft2 2.1.2-6 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7 X Rendering Extension client libra ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-3 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
