*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * Using Standard XFCE desktop included with Debian 8.1 Have a hard drive that is not automatically mounted via fstab Drive is listed on the desktop and within Thunar Double click to mount the drive(either via desktop or Thunar) Authentication is requested to mount the drive. If correct password is entered, application performs as intended and mounts the hard drive If the cancel button is pressed, authentication request is repeated. Expected that request for authentication would be cancelled. The only way to remove the authentication box is to have the correct password.
