There are not many. With the same functionality there's only kdiff3 and maybe meld. But they are much more heavyweight. One of the advantages of tkdiff is that it's rather lightweight and has not a lot of dependencies. Unfortunately the bundling in the tkcvs package introduces unnecessary dependencies and reduces this advantage. There where plans to split this package (see the last mail in bug #664084), but this was more than 3 years ago and nothing has happened since then. If someone starts to work on this package please consider to split it up into separate packages (tkdiff, tkcvs and tkdirdiff) and maybe drop either the tkdirdiff part or the dirdiff package (see bugs #664084 and #699146).
