I believe the maintainer has agreed to making the package team maintained.

If this change gets through I will upload this version to the DPMT
subversion (unless I can find the git repository first - in which case I
will attempt to use that instead - so far I can't find the git repository).
At this point we can work on getting the latest 3.1.x version packaged.
