That symbols is a weak symbol which is leaked from libstdc++6 [1] and thus marked as optional. So a library transitions doesn't look necessary. I rebuilt glibmm2.4, which is a rdep of libsigc++2.0, and there weren't any link failures caused by libsigc++-2.0 Marking the bug as moreinfo for now.
