Hi,
--arch is supposed to be whatever DEB_HOST_ARCH_CPU says it is. I think we should stop telling make-kpkg that it is ppc -- ppc is a subarch, anyway. What happens if you do not give kernel-package the --arch argument? It should work out of the box. Does it not do so? manoj -- The new Linux anthem will be "He's an idiot, but he's ok", as performed byMonthy Python.
