Some more info about check-mk and jquery. 1) In check-mk jquery is only used in web/htdocs/mobile.py to provide a mobile UI, the main web ui doesn't use it. 2) The embedded versions, 1.6.4 and 1.7.1, are _really_ old (2011) and have known security bugs. 3) The embedded version are minified, which is not considered an appropriate source format for debian packages. 4) The embedded copied are contained in web.tar.gz within the source making stripping them out problematic. 5) The jquery package in debian is horribly out of date #730014.
I think for now the best thing to do would be to change the debian build to not deliver the mobile plugin and jquery, and disable them. If the problems get sorted out then we could reenable. -- Matt Taggart tagg...@debian.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
