Package: vlan
Version: 1.9-1
Severity: minor

The long description says:

You need a VLAN kernel for this. Kernel versions < 2.4.14 need to be
patched. Currently the VLAN patch is only supported for 2.4 kernels.

This is quite confusing. I guess when it was written the implication
that 2.2 was not supported was clear, but in the days of 2.6, this
sentence is quite unclear: does it mean only 2.4 will work, but 2.6
will not? No, it doesn't, but it's not clear. Can you please
rephrase it. Thanks.
