I use Debian testing (= absolutely great OS!!!) and installed besides the standard gnome desktop also cinnamon, now version 2.6.13. Cinnamon works brilliantly. But I noticed one problem: If you want to switch to another user using the plugin on the bar, then the screen turns black and you seem not to be able to do something then. But the system does not hang itself. One can easily then switch to a system console and reboot the system. May be it is something within cinnamon or something that is usually used in Ubuntu but is not installed here. But I get a black screen and have to restart the system. Kind regards, Hase ps ....
