Hello,

indeed you are right.

@Aaron Gibson:
Do you have got an idea/fix for it?

Dear Maintainer,

E.g., with geoip-database-extra_20150317-1
$ geoiplookup -i 37.229.162.60
GeoIP Country Edition: UA, Ukraine
...
GeoIP ASNum Edition: AS714 Apple Inc.
Error Traversing Database for ipnum = 635806267 - Perhaps database is
corrupt?
Error Traversing Database for ipnum = 635806271 - Perhaps database is
corrupt?
  ipaddr: 37.229.162.60
  range_by_ip:  37.229.162.60 - 37.229.162.62
  network:      37.229.162.60 - 37.229.162.61 ::31
  ipnum: 635806268
  range_by_num: 635806268 - 635806270
  network num:  635806268 - 635806269 ::31

With binary database from
http://download.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/asnum/GeoIPASNum.dat.gz
it correctly shows:
$ geoiplookup -i -d . 37.229.162.60
GeoIP ASNum Edition: AS15895 Kyivstar PJSC
  ipaddr: 37.229.162.60
  range_by_ip:  37.229.0.0 - 37.229.255.255
  network:      37.229.0.0 - 37.229.255.255 ::16
  ipnum: 635806268
  range_by_num: 635764736 - 635830271
  network num:  635764736 - 635830271 ::16

I've tried with (self-compiled) geoip_1.6.5-2 libraries/generator and
geoip-database-extra_20150512-1 from sid, it seems problem persists.

PS With geoip-database-extra from jessie-backports (20150710-1~bpo8+1):
GeoIP ASNum Edition: AS32656 Nuveen Investments, LLC
Error Traversing Database for ipnum = 635806267 - Perhaps database is
corrupt?
  ipaddr: 37.229.162.60
  range_by_ip:  37.229.162.60 - 37.229.162.61
  network:      37.229.162.60 - 37.229.162.61 ::31
  ipnum: 635806268
  range_by_num: 635806268 - 635806269
  network num:  635806268 - 635806269 ::31
(i.e. still broken)
