Package: libsane
Version: 1.0.24-13
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

On trying to update the libsane-package from 1.0.24.9 to 1.0.24.13 I get
warnings that an abnormal list of other packages will be removed. Amongst which
crucial system-packages.

I can't imagine that it is correct for a package like libsane to have such an
impact.

This never happened on previous libsane updates.

So, what exactly is the matter here? Seems to me there's something wrong with
the dependencies.

With regards,
Jan Outhuis
