Well, I switched to "X Input Method", also for other bugs of, or linked to, Cedilla, so I wouldn't naturally encounter the bug anymore. I tried to reproduce now, but switching back to Cedilla (*locally* in *one* xfce4-terminal window, not the whole session) I couldn't.
