I haven't looked into this much but it seems I'm experiencing the same bug. I get:
Starting crypto disks: root(running) home(starting)Command failed: Invalid argument blain-backup(starting)Command failed: Invalid argument . After downgrading to cryptsetup_20050111-3_i386.deb and libdevmapper1.01_1.01.00-4_i386.deb it works again.
