2015-06-30 09:36 Anders Jonsson:
Package: aptitude
Version: 0.6.11-1+b1
Severity: minor
When reviewing the Swedish translation of aptitude i noticed that
there are about twenty strings in the translation that are commented
out in an "#if 0" block at least since 2005.They are however still
offered for translation.
The concerned strings are in cmine::checkend() in src/mine/cmine.cc
and are no longer used messages when the user loses the minesweeper
game in aptitude. This commented out section can probably be removed
to lessen the size of future translations.
Thanks for the patch, I will try to apply it soon.
.oO I sometimes wonder if it would not be better to just remove the
minesweeper altogether. It is sort of fun/amusing and it's not a
big burden to keep it going, but as cases like these show, it's not
zero-maintainance either.
Cheers.
