Anyway, typing "info Emacs" is easier.

Concerning the different versions, IMHO, this should be done like gcc:

* gcc: (gcc-4.9).               The GNU Compiler Collection.
* gcc-4.4: (gcc-4.4).           The GNU Compiler Collection.
* gcc-4.6: (gcc-4.6).           The GNU Compiler Collection.
* gcc-4.7: (gcc-4.7).           The GNU Compiler Collection.
