Unfortunately, I don't have another DE installed to test it right now, other gtk2 tools however seem to do fine.

Also I did just test what happens after hibernation with gpodder's window kept open. It seems as the tool can still be used just fine afterwards if done so, however, when I clicked the tray icon so it'd minimize I ended up with the same results as in the original post. The window won't be drawn again and the tray icon's right context menu can not be used either anymore.

Starting another process of gpodder seemed to work at first but gave me the same results when getting minimized, also nothing else but killing it helped then.

Resizing in normal state curses no problems at all, I suppose it has to do something with the case when hiding the main window by clicking on the tray icon as gpodder won't be shown on any virtual desktop at that point when I try to restore it.
