We just uploaded 3.3.9 to experimental (goes to NEW queue), and the next stable 3.4 should be released soon, maybe it would be easier to combine the two in a single transition? (However, if openwalnut needs changes to adapt to OSG 3.4, it will perhaps make things worse). Alberto is the primary maintainer nowadays and knows more details anyway. Cheers. -- Manuel A.
