Have you seen my reply, regarding setting SYTEMD_LOG_TARGET=console in /etc/init.d/udev and redirecting the output when starting the udevd daemon to a file in /run? That should work -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
