Package: usb-modeswitch Version: 2.2.0+repack0-2 Severity: normal Hi, I'm not sure about $SUBJ accuracy, but thing is that /usr/sbin/usb_modemswitch_dispatcher is called with wrong arguments when it is called without any other "helper". For example: USB modem is connected into USB port Bus 5, Port 6 and usb_modemswitch_dispatcher is called as "/usr/sbin/usb_modeswitch_dispatcher --switch-systemd 5/6/5/6:1.0" which isn't working. When e.g. modemmanager is installed, the same situation calls "/usr/sbin/usb_modeswitch_dispatcher --switch-systemd /5/6:1.0" which works.
In previous version of Debian it worked flawlessly, without any further requirements. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=cs_CZ.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=cs_CZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages usb-modeswitch depends on: ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libjim0.75 0.75-1 ii libusb-1.0-0 2:1.0.19-1 ii usb-modeswitch-data 20150115-1 usb-modeswitch recommends no packages.
