Package: gftp Version: 2.0.18-5 Severity: important
gftp sometimes misses many files and sub-directories when copying files. To reproduce: 1. Launch gftp, connect to remote host. (I used ssh2.) 2. Select local directory with many subdirs and files. Ex: ~/.firefox 3. Copy selected directory to remote system. 4. Again copy selected directory to remote system (different location) with scp -r ~/.firefox [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/tmp. 5. Notice large discrpancy in files transferred. gftp omits files and subdirs. Simpler test to reproduce: 1. Launch gftp. Select local directory with many subdirs and files. Ex: ~/.firefox 2. Hit your Delete key. 3. gftp asks, "Are you sure you want to delete these 10 files and 4 directories" 4. Use your favorite tool to count the many files and subdirectories not seen by gftp. Thanks!
