Package: transmission-remote-gtk
Version: 1.1.1-1+b1
Severity: minor
Owner: bba...@mit.edu

Clicking the ‘License’ button in Help > About yields a frame simply
reading ‘GPL2’. This is a fallback for if transmission-remote-gtk
cannot access a copy of the GPL installed with the package. Debian does
not ship a copy of the GPL within this package, as the licence readily
accessible in /usr/share/common-licenses; thus, transmission-remote-gtk
always displays the fallback ‘GPL2’.

To fix this, transmission-remote-gtk should look for its licence in
/usr/share/common-licenses instead. It looks like this requires a
(fairly minimal) patch to configure.ac and an autoreconf as part of the
build process.
