I've pondered about this on and off, and I'm a bit conflicted. From a Debian prespective, I'm not sure the tftp client and server bring anything worthy compared to the existing implementations in the archive, namely netkit-tftp(d), tftp(d)-hpa and atftp(d). I know that the same could be said about some of the other packages from inetutils, but at least those were there from the beginning. Its development seems a bit stale too. OTOH, from a maintainer PoV, I somewhat like the idea of a unified suite and shipping as much from upstream inetutils as it is worth. I'd appreciate some input on the above. Also, although a bit late O:), what's the reason you'd have liked to have these available instead of the alternatives?
