Hi, I did some more investigation, and although I wasn't able to duplicate the segfaults, I did find something odd.
I set up a Debian 8.1 system which I think did an upgrade to testing. That left me with an Amarok that was linked against both libnettle.so.4 and libnettle.so.6. It looks like amarok depends on libcurl3-gnutls which depends on libgnutls- deb0-28 which depends on a version of libnettle and libhogweed. I removed libnettle4 which triggered an upgrade and replacement of several gnutls related packages. The first version of libgnutls-deb0-28 installed was 3.3.8-6+deb8u1, the upgraded version which worked for me was 3.3.15-7. Could you check your versions of libgnutls-deb0-28? and see which version of libhogweed you have installed? (libhogweed2 or libhogweed4)?
