I have a root password set and do not wish to change it and therefore follow the dialog instructions and enter nothing. Regardless of the above package configuration errors the mysql server is running and operational. This is my Sid victim system for discovering these types of problems. (My main desktop.) How may I assist in improving the packaging to avoid this upgrade failure?
