Hello, At the moment, Ansible is not distributable in Debian due to a DFSG problem. I have been hesitant to repack it because I don't actually /think/ it's a problem, but merely a misdocumentation. Still, I have been waiting on upstream to respond for long enough now that I don't want to hold things up, especially with 1.9.2.
I'll repack it and push up a new package for you to test from experimental this evening. I don't want to put it directly into sid as I rather aggressively removed things from the compile rules, and I'm not sure it will function correctly anymore. -Harlan On Thu, Jun 25, 2015 at 6:15 PM, Simon John <deb...@the-jedi.co.uk> wrote: > Is there any progress on this, as 1.9.2 just went final. > > I tried making a deb using their "make deb" recipe, but it doesn't work > well on Debian, neither does a git checkout, it never seems to find the > core modules or plugins. > > Using the 1.7.2 debian directory and 1.9.2 sources doesn't work either. > > Is there anything we can do to help with the packaging?
