I have just tried xgridedit in gmt 4.5.12 using a .grd file from the internet, and I do not get a segfault. This could be because I am using a newer version of gmt than in your report, or a problem with the files you were using. Do you still have this problem? If so, which version of gmt are you using, and can you attach a file to the bug that causes the crash for you (or point to a place on the internet where I can get the file)? Regards, Ross
