Hello Jonathan & El Hadji Ahmadou Waly Ndiaye,

could you please check with current gnote (from jessie) - synchronisation works for me with that version.

Allthough - gnote has been segfaulting for me recently, and I have activated (local) synchronisation recently sooooo ... I'm not sure if "works" is a correct term.

So I'm withdrawing my assertion that synchronisation is working. It is "kind of working" in that at least here, notes will get synchonized (locally) one time or so, but at some point (pretty soon after starting and using Gnote) Gnote will crash.

Just a guess from my intuition as a programmer: the synchronisation code is setting up some datastructure but in a way that is not entirely clean. That is pointers somewhere are not being initialized before being used or they are not being correctly reset when the temporary thing they point to has been freed. At some later point these structures are being re-traversed and gnote crashes due to some invalid pointer.
