A debug log from NetworkManager would have been helpful as well. That said, your issue looks like a bug in the linux kernel/iwlwifi. Have you tried older kernels (like the jessie one)? -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
