The relation between the Debian maintainer and the upstream maintainer
is ment as a cooperative simbiosis. Your bad, if you don't want to make
use of it.

If the script would be of value for me personally, I just would have
forked it already. I have the impression, the effort of sending patches
which are larger than the 109 line script itselfs isn't worthwile enough.
