Package: painintheapt Version: 0.20150504-2~bpo8+1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
The crontab installed by painintheapt produces debug output and thus sends superfluous email everyday that it is run. Output: ^MFetched 0 B in 0s (0 B/s) It would be nice if the script had a --quiet option, but until then, I've simply redirected output to /dev/null (see configuration below), which is unfortunate as there could be errors that should get reported. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages painintheapt depends on: ii python3 3.4.2-2 ii python3-apt 0.9.3.11 ii python3-prettytable 0.7.2-3 ii python3-sleekxmpp 1.0~beta5-2 Versions of packages painintheapt recommends: ii cron [cron-daemon] 3.0pl1-127 painintheapt suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/cron.d/painintheapt changed: 0 1 * * Mon-Sat root if test -x /usr/sbin/painintheapt; then /usr/sbin/painintheapt >/dev/null; else true; fi 0 1 * * Sun root if test -x /usr/sbin/painintheapt; then /usr/sbin/painintheapt --force >/dev/null; else true; fi /etc/painintheapt.conf [Errno 13] Permission denied: u'/etc/painintheapt.conf' -- no debconf information -- Gerald Turner <gtur...@unzane.com> Encrypted mail preferred!
