Package: reprepro Version: 4.16.0-1 Severity: wishlist User: [email protected] Usertags: origin-kali
It would be nice if reprepro had a feature to rename a distribution. For example I have a "kali" distribution and would like to rename it to "moto" and use "kali" as "suite" name. I don't know of a simple and clean way to do this automatically without confusing reprepro. I can rename the files in "dists" and the configuration in "conf/distributions" but I can't update the database files in "db/*". Due to this, I have to create a new distribution, copy over all the packages (with some reprepro command), drop the old distribution. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers squeeze-lts APT policy: (500, 'squeeze-lts'), (500, 'oldoldstable'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages reprepro depends on: ii libarchive13 3.1.2-11+b1 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-8 ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libdb5.3 5.3.28-9 ii libgpg-error0 1.19-2 ii libgpgme11 1.5.1-6 ii liblzma5 5.1.1alpha+20120614-2+b3 ii pinentry-curses 0.9.4-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 Versions of packages reprepro recommends: ii apt 1.0.9.10 Versions of packages reprepro suggests: ii gnupg-agent 2.0.28-1 pn inoticoming <none> pn lzip <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
