Dear Maintainer, Some time over the last few months, Evolution has started to suggest my "Contacts/Birthdays & Anniversaries" calendar as the default when importing events (e.g. .ics file received in email), rather than "On This Computer/Personal". I can't find an option in the UI to choose default calendar for import, and all kinds of web searching around terms such as "gnome evolution import event default calendar" has turned up nothing. To reproduce: - Find a .ics file, or similar. - Run "evolution --import foo.ics". - An import dialog pops up describing the event. - Click Next. - The dialog progresses to calendar choice. At this point I'd like it to default to my Personal calendar, but it now defaults to Birthdays. This behaviour is not evident with Evolution 3.4.4 on my laptop (where it still defaults to Personal). Interestingly, on my laptop (which is working ok), if I right-click to choose properties for the two calendars, neither of them has "Mark as default calendar" checked, while on my desktop (which is doing the wrong thing), Personal has "Mark as default calendar" checked. The wording of that checkbox is confusing, but as far as I can tell, it actually means "This is the default calendar," and unchecking it is in a sense impossible since even if you un- check it, it'll be checked again next time you open the calendar's properties. Nevertheless, changing which one is checked as default seems to have no impact on --import's behaviour. This regression looks as if it should be trivially fixable, but I can't find the fix. Any suggestions? Or do you think this is an upstream problem?
