After upgrading from Jessie to testing, epiphany browser stopped rendering some pages including my preferred search engine https://duckduckgo.com/ which makes it almost unusable for me then. Doing some experimentation: click on middle of the page, press CTRL+A, then click again and drag the full selection to the right, makes the page text appears. It will disappear as soon as you release the mouse button.
