GNOME Shell requires either 3D accelerated graphics or 'llvmpipe' which currently only works on x86. For PowerMacs with an ATI Radeon GPU, the firmware-nonfree package is needed. Ben. -- Ben Hutchings 73.46% of all statistics are made up.
