Package: gnome-keyring Version: 3.16.0-2 Severity: wishlist Control: affects -1 pinentry-gnome3 gnupg-agent
pinentry 0.9.3-2 now produces a pinentry-gnome3 binary that uses gcr for prompting and has a checkbox to enable the user to cache their passphrase in the system keyring. This is part of a larger project to reduce superfluous dependencies on headless servers that use GnuPG while improving the user experience for desktop users of GnuPG (see also https://bugs.debian.org/753163 and https://bugs.debian.org/765406).
