Thanks. To avoid the Vala source/generated C code issue in future, I suggest that upstream should store only Vala files in their VCS and release tarballs and that all C code should be generated at build time. If upstream refuse to do that, please strip the C code out of their tarballs using the uscan Files-Excluded header in debian/copyright so that at least on Debian we actually build from source. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
