Hi Johan,

It is possible this bug is not in libsane but upstream in the USB system of
the kernel. I do not know if that can be worked out without a lot of time
and resources. Also, from my searching it is it is not just Debian. I have
tried different kernels, stock Debian kernels and even tried Fedora, Ubuntu
and Linuxmint. All the same.

Someone, with more knowledge than me, needs to work out the source of the
error so a more appropriate bug can be raised. Somewhere in the system that
controls, specifically, Intel USB3 chips and Intel xHCI Mode.

cheers

Greg
