In a minimal sid schroot:

  # apt-get install libnftnl0
  [...]
  The following NEW packages will be installed:
    libjansson4 libmnl0 libmxml1 libnftnl0
  Need to get 125 kB of archives.
  After this operation, 472 kB of additional disk space will be used.

  # apt-get install iptables
  [...]
  The following NEW packages will be installed:
    iptables libnfnetlink0 libxtables10
  Need to get 358 kB of archives.
  After this operation, 3818 kB of additional disk space will be used.

So getting libiptc it's a whole magnitude bigger.
