Package: pbuilder Version: 0.142 Followup-For: Bug #344119 I had the same problem. Upgrading local coreutils from testing (5.2.1-2.1) to unstable (5.93-5) fixed it. So maybe pbuilder just needs to increase it's coreutils dependancy version number?
