Package: icewm Version: 1.3.8-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
after upgrading to Jessie these days the Shutdown and Reboot commands from the Icewm menu are no longer working. To verify that there is no conflict with some display manager that runs in the background I uninstalled them all, still no luck. I also tried several commands as shutdown resp. reboot commands for Icewm, like "super reboot", "/sbin/shutdown -r now", "systemctl reboot" etc. which all work fine when run from inside a terminal. This seems to be a known bug in Icewm-1.3.8, according to: http://sourceforge.net/p/icewm/bugs/911/ this appears to be a mere typo in one of the source files, someone posted a patch there that is supposed to fix the issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages icewm depends on: ii icewm-common 1.3.8-2 ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libesd0 0.2.41-11 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-6.3 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.2-10 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+b1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.1-1 ii libice6 2:1.0.9-1+b1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.2-1+b1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.2-3 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1 ii libxft2 2.3.2-1 ii libxinerama1 2:1.1.3-1+b1 ii libxrandr2 2:1.4.2-1+b1 ii ttf-dejavu-core 2.34-1 icewm recommends no packages.
