Hi, Thanks for the bug report. I only kept aptdaemon in the repository for use by isenkram, I plan to remove it ASAP in this release cycle. There's no real advantage in using aptdcon over apt or packagekit, if you need a demon. I suggest using that instead. I do not think it's worth a stable release update.
