Huh, cinnamon uses its own session manager (cinnamon-session). I don't see how gnome-session would be involved in starting cinnamon. Please provide more detail, especially a detailed log of the session startup. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
