So I believe that bug isn't fixed yet.
Can you provide a bit more info, Daniel? I can't reproduce the behavior you're describing with 0.9.2-1. A more full description of the fix as i understand it is below. I think you're saying you're using pinentry-qt4 version 0.9.2-1. While the context menu available in the dialog box that pops up is visible, i agree that cut and copy should be grayed out there, permanently. We do not want to leak the contents of the text entry to any clipboard. I expect paste to work into this Window via the traditional X11 mouse-middle-click insertion of the PRIMARY selection, and ctrl-V and context-menu>Paste should insert the CLIPBOARD selection (see http://www.jwz.org/doc/x-cut-and-paste.html for details). Testing just now, it looks to me like all of this works. You can replicate it by running pinentry-qt4 from the command line, and then typing "GETPIN" into the terminal, followed by enter. If you can find a situation where this is repeatably failing, please let me know so i can reproduce it. Regards, --dkg
